"The Queen of All Media" is accused of stealing one of her million-dollar ideas.
Oprah Winfrey is being sued for ripping off the idea of her OWN TV series "Iyanla: Fix My Life" by a Mississippi woman named Otisa C. Strickland, The Wrap reports.
Strickland filed suit against the 62-year-old talk show host and the network on Tuesday, claiming "Fix My Life" is a "carbon copy" of a show she proposed titled, "The Agency."
"The two television shows are virtually identical," Strickland wrote in papers filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, according to The Wrap.
It isn't the first time the women have gone head-to-head over a show concept. In 2011, Strickland reportedly accused Winfrey of copying another television show of her, which she believes put her on the star's radar to steal the idea for "The Agency," TMZ reported.
In a letter attached to the lawsuit, OWN claims Strickland did propose a show to the network, but it was much different and involved a judge resolving disputes instead of a therapist.
