Kendrick Lamar hosted an album listening party in Chicago last night, September 24th, for his much anticipated "Good Kid, m.A.A.d City" album debut being released under the wing of Interscope records. Kendrick ended up only playing three songs before he ultimately stormed off of the stage due to intense frustration that the crowd wouldn't quiet down and offer their complete and undivided attention to his music. Ab-Soul then grabbed the mic and gave Chicago a few harsh words for what he and Kendrick felt was disrespect towards their craft before exiting the event altogether.
So, I'm not mad @ Kendrick Lamar for walking the f**k out! At the end of the day business is business & if he payed for free food & drinks for mofos to enjoy themselves & full up their bellies, the least they could f**king do is show a ni**@ a lil respect & listen to his album! Cause yeah! The money spent on those album listening parties come out of the artist budget! Like when I was interviewing Schoolboy Q! There's was 30 mofos in the room doing nothing but yapping their traps & I couldn't hear sh!t he was saying! Like WTF! My interview is no good if you can't hear sh!t! I said Mannnn! F**k this sh!t & told the mofo in charge this aint right & mofos cleared out the room! I mean I'm not gonna waste my time! I was there for business & mofos was there for free food & drinks!
Ab-Soul was wrong for saying "We'll always be better than ya'll. We see ya'll Chicago"
