Nipsey Hussle Fans Want Crayola To Name A Crayon After Him

They’re calling it “Nipsey Blue.”

Fans of the slain rapper, Nipsey Hussle, have launched a social media campaign to try and get a Crayola crayon color named after him.

Countless users were on board Thursday — including Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James, who tweeted out his support.

Some of the other names being floated by Nipsey fans were “Marathon Blue,” “Blue Laces” and “Crenshaw Blue.”

The idea stems from a 2017 post by Crayola, in which the company asked its followers for help naming its newest blue crayon after their makers decided to retire the color “Dandelion.” After months of voting, crayon fans eventually settled on “Bluetiful.”

Crayola has yet to respond to the Nipsey campaign.
