It looks like Nas is getting ready to release the follow up to his 2012 LP, Life Is Good.
In an interview with Billboard, where the Queens discussed Mass Appeal’s partnership with collaborative workspace WeWork, he was also prompted on the whereabouts of his 12th studio-album. He said that “for sure” it will drop some time in 2017.
As for the title of the album, the “Angel Dust” MC said that he may not have a name for his next body of work “till release.” However, he does have some ideas for what he and his team may be doing for the album rollout.
“We might do a single but we might do something different,” he explained. He and WeWork vice chairman Michael Gross said that they enjoy how artists like EDM group The Chainsmokers release material from their album only a few weeks apart from each other.
“It’s a different world now so you want to put out records fresh from to your head to the world now and get the feedback from the people and make it whole,” he said.
Nas will also be touring the UK over the summer, beginning Jul. 7 at the Wireless Festival in London.
