Meek Mill Gets Violated For Posting Gun Pic While On Probation

Meek Mill is learning the dangers of social media the hard way, after prosecutors became “concerned about a number of recent incidents” regarding the rappers behavior, including an alleged post from the MMG MC with a gun, Philadelphia’s Fox News affiliate reports. Currently in custody, Mill will reportedly spend 3-6 months in county jail, though online social media guru, Karen civil disputes the claim, saying Meek’s camp tell her the end result will clock in closer to 3 or 4 weeks.

The rapper’s probation stems from a 2008 conviction, which found Mill (who’s real name is Robert Williams) guilty on multiple firearm and drug charges. He previously served 8 months in jail as part of his sentencing, before beginning a five year probation period in the fall of 2009. Should the now widely reported 3-6 month stint in fact be the case, that would put the rapper behind bars for the release of his upcoming album, “Dreams Worth More Than Money” which is currently set for a September 9th drop date.

Already, stop on Meek’s current Homecoming Tour have been cancelled, including tomorrow’s show in Washington DC, with a judge ordering the MC to halt performances from July 11 to August 11 after finding the DA’s evidence to be “technical violations of his probation”. Speaking on the latest developments, Meek’s attorney defended his client saying “He has done so much on the positive side… So much to follow all the rules and regulations for many years”, though the district attorney’s office dispute this saying in addition to the firearm photo, the rapper had also missed meetings with his parole officer.

It remains to be seen if Meek will appeal the ruling or if his upcoming Sophomore LP will see a pushback due to the rappers incarceration.
