With a menace reminiscent of Snoop's "187", Sacramento's Mazerati Ricky delivers his latest, "Palms Itching."
True to form, this Maqbool Media-directed visual is more ride-along than recreation. It calls to mind the film noir movies of the 40's which fits Ricky's rhyming style perfectly. The effect is an ever-present feeling of impending danger throughout that lends legitimacy to every word Ricky spits.
Pulled in to music early in life by one of Hyphy's pioneers, Rick Rock, Mazerati Ricky soon found himself on a 10-year vacation courtesy of the Federal Government with little to do but write. 100's of songs later. spurred on by a desire to change, Ricky formed his Old RULEZ Music label, releasing six albums worth of street anthems upon his release.
"Palms Itching" can be found on Ricky's "OldRulez 2" project, released via Old RULEZ/GT Distribution/ Empire.
