Marlon Wayans is down to do a White Chicks sequel, but only if AI powers it. During the press run for his new film, Him, the actor-comedian confessed that he’s open to reprise his role as Marcus Copeland from the 2004 classic. However, AI would be the driving force to evade spending hours in the makeup chair. “I’m waiting for technology. I’m waiting for AI,” Wayans said on The Breakfast Club. “I don’t want to sit in makeup seven hours again for 60 days, sitting in seven hours of makeup and then working 14 hours after that, which means I’m sleeping two hours every day to do this movie.” He added, “Nah, AI is coming. So, I got to get in makeup two times, and then the AI will do the work. I’m down for that. But other than that, I want to do Black Man the movie where I come in, I do five minutes of makeup, and I get out of a 12-hour day. A sequel to the cult classic was first announced in 2009 but was ultimately shelved. However, Wayans said back in February that he’d begin working on White Chicks 2 once Scary Movie 6 was completed. The latter is set to hit theaters in June 2026.
