Mariah Carey is making the best of her unfortunate injury.
The 43-year-old singer took to Twitter to post a light-hearted video of herself exiting the hospital after she was hurt Sunday while filming the music video for"#Beautiful," the remix.
In the clip posted by Carey, she is being wheeled out to her car donning what she referred to as a "fashionable sling" after dislocating her shoulder.
"Well that was fun," she quipped as she exits.
"We're gonna go back to the video," Carey, who appeared very eager to get back to work added.
Her hubby Nick Cannon said his wife truly took the fall like a champ.
"She's such a trooper," Cannon, 32, told the "Today" show on Tuesday.
"I was going to rush to the hospital with her," but, she said to her husband who was directing the music video, "'You get back in there and finish that video!' Then, after they put (her) shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything."
Carey also used her social media to express to her fans how thankful she was for their support.
"Thanks all for the well wishes," she wrote on Thursday. "Still in a lot of pain - cracked rib, fractured shoulder, bruises everywhere, but the show must go on."
The singer is most likly referring to her scheduled "show" this weekend in New York City to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief.
"In a sling, but will do my best to make it look good w/ the ensemble Sat w/ the NY philharmonic," she wrote adding it was "an amazing honor for such a great cause."
