A young man was killed early Sunday when he was struck by a subway train in Brooklyn, police said.
The gruesome accident at the Halsey St. stop on the L train in Bushwick left part of the man's mangled body on the platform alongside the subway car.
The train's motorman spotted the young man on the tracks, but could not stop the Canarsie-bound train in time, police said.
Police said the unidentified man was white and in his 20s. He was not carrying identification.
Investigators do not believe he was a victim of foul play, but they are not sure if he fell onto the tracks or jumped.
