Malia Obama Caught On Camera Smoking Weed

The elder daughter of President Obama has been accused of using cannabis after a video emerged showing her smoking a rolled up cigarette at a concert.

According to reports in the US, Malia Obama was caught on camera smoking the cigarette at the Lollapalooza gig in Chicago last month.

The 18-year-old had already courted controversy at the concert after opting to miss the Democratic National Convention with her parents to attend the event in her hometown.

She was later pictured twerking and grinding while wearing a pair of shorts and a tight fitting boob tube.

However new footage, obtained by Radar Online , shows the teenager smoking a rolled up cigarette which a witness claims was cannabis.

Jerrdin Selwyn, 18, told the gossip site she saw the first daughter smoking during a Bryson Tiller set on July 31.

"I caught Malia smoking pot and I have the pictures to prove it," Selwyn claimed, insisting, "You could smell the marijuana smoke.

"I saw some young guy hand her a cigarette and she took at least one hit on it.

"She had it in her hand for about one minute, then gave it back to him.”

Chicago's state of Illinois recently decriminalised possession of up to 10 grams of marijuana, replacing a criminal penalty with a fine of $100 to $200.

If the allegations are true Malia would not be the first Obama to smoke the drug.

While a secondary school pupil in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the late seventies, President Obama is said to have been a member of the "Choom Gang” - a group of boys who played basketball and smoked marijuana.

The US leader has previously admitted experimenting with drugs in his youth, but when discussing his own experiences he said he had warned his two children off about cannabis.

He said: "I've told my daughters I think it's a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy.

"As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life.”

He then added: "I don't think it is more dangerous than alcohol."

Malia, who graduated in spring 2016, is currently taking a year out before starting at Harvard in 2017.

Since leaving school her social life has exploded.

During one visit to Brown University last year, a photograph of her standing in front of a beer pong table went viral on social media.

She was the pictured at a booze-fuelled birthday bash at the Sugar Factory nightclub in Amsterdam in early July.

Ok so she was twerking & took a toke …….
