LOL! BIG LOVE STAR SAY'S SHE WON'T TRY THE COCAINE & CIGARETTES DIET!

When it comes to extreme dieting, Ginnifer Goodwin says she'll pass.

The "Big Love" star recently told People that she was "shocked" that her interview with Health magazine, in which she spoke out about her lifelong membership with Weight Watchers, sparked so much controversy.

"I was like 'No!' I've never had body issues, I've never had an eating disorder," she told People. "I've never had to go on a diet and that's because of Weight Watchers."

The actress, 32, told Health magazine in its December issue that she is "an extremely healthy person," but that she does need to stay within range of a "happy" weight goal she sets for herself.

"[It's] where I feel good about myself and my energy's high," Goodwin said in the issue. "I call it my 'shooting weight,' because it's also the number that doesn't freak me out when I see myself on screen."

Goodwin, who became engaged to boyfriend of two years, actor Joey Kern, in late December, explained that even at 9 years old, she "began to identify [herself] as fat" and knew she needed a change.

Her mother, she said, played a large role in helping her lose weight - the healthy way.

"Her reaction was not, 'Oh, I'll help you get skinny,'" Goodwin said.

"My mother's reaction was, 'Why don't we all go and learn a little more about our health.'"

And in an industry rife with waifish celebrities, the "He's Just Not That Into You" actress prefers to keep her focus on Weight Watchers, the regiment that has taught her moderation, rather than something she's dubbed the "Cocaine and Cigarettes Diet."

"I see girls who haven't had a carbohydrate in three years," she said. "The second you go back to eating right, you're going to put that weight on. You eat one piece of bread and you are screwed, lady!"

"I pulled an actress friend aside and I said, 'I get it. I get what it is that you're trying to do, but there's being healthfully skinny and then there's starting to look like a scary alien cat,'" she continued.

"I've always been able to satisfy my cravings; it's just a matter of balancing."
