LOL! BEYONCE KILLED A WHOLE ZOO FOR HER SHOES!

They bought a zoo — and they’re wearing the whole thing!

With a love for the finest, including accessories made with exotic animal skins, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have 99 problems — and PETA is one.

The first family of hip hop is piling on the pets with pride, enraging the animal-rights organization with their tacky display.

The most recent offender? A pair of insanely souped-up sneakers, commissioned by Beyoncé herself, that are made from ostrich, anaconda, stingray, cow and crocodile. The “King Bey” sneakers cost a whopping $7,000-$10,000 and take one person an entire month to create.

Dan Matthews, senior vice president of PETA, is baffled by the purchase. “These shoes seem like they were made for Hannibal Lecter, not Beyoncé. Why would someone who seems to full of life allow her name to be associated with such grisly death?

“The whole idea that the only way to show the world you have a lot of money is by killing as many animals as possible is moronic,” he adds. “It’s like they killed Noah’s Ark for them.”

This isn’t the first time Beyonce has been criticized by the animal right group. In January the singer wore a Dior mink to the presidential inauguration, and last month she sported a python and iguana bodysuit for her Super Bowl halftime performance.

“(Beyoncé) asked that we customize a pair of Isabel Marant sneakers for her,” says Andre Scott, CEO of PMK. Although this isn’t an authorized colloboration with the designer, a Marant spokesperson told The News that Beyoncé is a fan of the designer’s high-end wedge sneakers. The exotic skins are added to an existing pair of sneakers, completely by hand, by a designer at PMK’s Brooklyn workshop.

PMK also designed the “Brooklyn Zoo” sneakers worn by Hova, a limited-edition run of 10 customized Air Jordan 1 kicks resurfaced with python, ostrich, crocodile, and — wait for it — elephant skin.

Scott defends their use of scary skins, saying, “No animals were beaten, harmed or killed; everything is legal,” he adds, perplexingly. “PMK is not harming any of the animals or dramatically killing any of them.”

He was coy about the cost of the “King Bey” shoes, saying that they could have cost anywhere between $7,000 and $10,000 to produce, and hinting that they were the most expensive pair of sneakers the brand has ever made.

Furry and fuzzy, aquatic or lizardlike, no animal is safe in the Carter household.

Bey’s skintight python, iguana, and leather ruffled bodysuit she wore to perform at the Super Bowl halftime, designed by local Rubin Singer, drew particular ire.

Singer, however, tells The News that he had chosen to work with exotic skins “extensively, throughout my career” because of their unusual color and texture. Asked if the blowback post-Super Bowl had bothered him, he flatly says “No.

“It’s not like they’re endangered species,” he explains. “They’re farmed for the specific purpose of what they’re used for. There’s no mistreatment.”

As for PETA’s Matthews, he’s still rooting for Beyoncé. “I hope that she will come to her senses,” he says. “She’s full of sunshine and light and she’s got such a glowing aura. She doesn’t need this baggage.”
