“In my first term I sang Al Green. In my second term, I’m going with Young Jeezy,” Obama quipped Saturday, a reference to the POTUS' rendition of the soul legend's "Let's Stay Together" at the Apollo Theater in January.
Rapper Young Jeezy, who also goes by the nickname The Snowman, was quick to show his appreciation for the high-profile compliment.
"Shout out to @BarackObama," the 34-year-old Boyz N Da Hood member tweeted late Saturday night.
"You know they love the snowman in the white house," he added.
The Snowman also loves the Commander in Chief: Jeezy wrote a song, "My President", in honor of Obama's presidential election win in 2008.
