Lil Yachty Spends $35,000 On Colorful Grills

Lil Yachty spent a lot of money to have a colorful smile. The “Minnesota” rapper’s rainbow-colored grills, which he wore to the 2017 Grammy Awards, cost him $35,000.

Icebox Diamonds and Watches tells TMZ that Lil Boat reached out to them last Tuesday (Feb. 7) for a grill to match his personality. The jeweler ended up crafting one containing blue and yellow diamonds, red rubies and green emeralds.

Yachty only got his hands on the grill a few hours before the show. Icebox said they flew a rep out to Los Angeles yesterday (Feb. 12) and gave the 2016 XXL Freshman his custom grills.

While the “1Night” rapper’s grill stood out, it definitely got overshadowed by CeeLo Green’s outfit. The Goodie Mob member showed up to the Grammys in a getup reminiscent of Star Wars’ C-3PO.

Yachty may not have won an award last night, but he did get to make an impact. The young artist teamed up with Carly Rae Jepsen to remake DJ E-Z Rock and Rob Base’s classic “It Takes Two.” The new version premiered in a Target commercial that aired during the Grammy Awards.
