Lil Wayne Enters The Cannabis Business With GKUA Ultra Premium

With lighter flicks signifying the start of his verses, it's safe to say Lil Wayne is a smoking connoisseur. Weezy is now getting involved in the lucrative marijuana industry, as he announced on Monday (Dec. 2) the launch of his GKUA Ultra Premium cannabis brand.

All of the products being rolled out in the coming months have been approved by Wayne himself, which includes their limited-edition Hollygrove flower strain, vape batteries and cartridges, as well as potent concentrates. "I used to just want to get high, now I smoke to get inspired. With GKUA, I’m sharing a feeling that I love," Weezy shared in a statement.

To celebrate the brand's launch, GKUA is hosting a VIP party in Los Angeles to kick off 2020 featuring a performance by Lil Wayne and friends. More details will be announced at a later date.

Wayne follows in the footsteps of Drake getting in the weed biz; Drizzy just launched his More Life Growth Co. last month (Nov. 7).
