LiAngelo Ball Says He Cried In Car On The Way To Married Rashida Nicole

After less than one year of marriage, the honeymoon period between estranged spouses LiAngelo "GELO" Ball and Rashida Nicole has ended. But Ball says he wasn't feeling it even on the way to the courthouse. Shortly after Nicole gave birth to her first child with the "Tweaker" artist, Ball spoke about their estrangement on the Tuesday (Dec. 9) episode of podcast Ball in the Family. Around the 26-minute mark of the podcast below, Ball revisited his abrupt split with television personality Nikki Mudarris, also known as Miss Nikki Baby, shortly after the exes welcomed their second child together. Just weeks after their breakup in February, Ball married Nicole. "I don't know what I was doing for real," Ball said, adding, "I had like a week where I tapped in. Like, 'What am I doing' type shit. Ball added that his breakup with Mudarris was preceded by disagreements over where they would live and where their children would attend school. "If I could redo it, I would have whooped my own ass for real. I would have stayed there," Ball said, implying he wouldn't have broken up with the former Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star. "I told her that, though. Nikki called me like she I told her straight up like, 'I was tweaking.' I ain't got no excuse for that shit or nothing," he continued. Ball added that he's often "in his own world" and didn't seek advice about the decision to end his previous relationship. "That's why I say I had to tap in," he said. "When I really started thinking about what I'm about, I'm like, 'This shit trash.'" Ball went on to explain that his marriage to Nicole was rushed and insinuated that it blindsided him, saying that he had "two terrible ass weeks." "I was fine," Ball said. "Shit started going south like that. I did make some dumb ass decisions, I feel like she was like, 'I pray you die every day.' Like, she might have been on some ill shit, n***a. I couldn't think for real." The rapper and basketball player added that he was "going through the motions" with Nicole and alleged that she insisted that they marry. "She drove me [to the courthouse], n***a. I'm out there about to cry in the whip," Ball recalled. "I felt disconnected type shit. I'm telling her like, 'I don't want to get married, n***a. I don't want to do none of this shit.' But then I was like, 'I'm doing it though, n***a.' And I did not understand." But it was on a day that Ball cried over his decision to marry Nicole that he told her to "slide" out of his residence. "To be honest, I don't like her ass," he explained elsewhere. "She was lying and shit. A whole bunch of bad shit, n***a. I had to just go and leave." Since the birth of their child, Nicole has thrown jabs at Ball on Instagram and claimed that he hadn't been present throughout their pregnancy, nor has he met their infant. "Poor baby been on this earth for 6 days still ain't seen or heard from her dad,” Nicole wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday (Dec. 8).
