Sometimes it is not good to trend on Twitter.
Singer Lauryn Hill has found herself at the mercy of social media after infuriating them with an "utter sh--e" London concert, reports The Guardian.
Fans took to Twitter with complaints about her show ranging from a lousy warm-up act, the fact she was 90 minutes late and because the former Fugees singer massively rearranged versions of her songs.
As well as being attacked on Twitter, Hill was also booed while on stage.
Fans also complained about the sound at the Brixton Academy venue, south London.
One Twitter user — @gregbutera — wrote: "Waste of time and money. 90 minutes late. Plus somebody kidnapped Ms Hill and replaced her with an indie tribute band!"
@sallyduhig said: "#LaurynHill #brixton waited years to see Miss Hill only to hear her bastardise every song to the point of unrecognisable! Utter sh--e!"
It was the first of five UK shows for Hill.
Recently British crowds turned on Kanye West after he launched a 20 minute rant on discrimination in the fashion industry during a concert in London in July.
Real talk! They ain't lying! I saw Lauryn Hill at a Smokin' Grooves concert & being a huge Lauryn Hill fan I expected her to perform her classics ….. Like …..
