The 26-year-old son of rap-star turned actor L.L. Cool J was arrested early Tuesday after he was thrown out of a nightclub above a popular Meatpacking District restaurant.
Najee Smith is facing criminal trespass charges in connection with a 3:15 a.m. altercation inside the Catch Rooftop on Ninth Ave. near W. 13th St., officials said.
The scion to the “Mamma Said Knock You Out” rapper had just celebrated his birthday Monday and was apparently intoxicated when he caused a disturbance inside the club, police sources said.
When a club employee asked him to leave, he refused, and fought off bouncers as they took him to the ground level and called police, officials said.
No serious injuries were reported.
Smith and other patrons were attending Catch Rooftop's Monday night party, which organizers bill as “one of the most exclusive in the city and is host to fashion models, celebrities, nightlife industry insiders and big spending bottle clients,” according to the club's website.
Bottle service at the swanky nightspot range from $400 to more than $600 and tables can cost up to $1,600, the website notes.
Smith, L.L. Cool J's eldest son, made a stir online in 2012 when he tweeted photos of himself sitting on the toilet and then having sex, according to obnoxioustelevision.com.
But the headliner who currently stars on "NCIS: Los Angeles" apparently ignored his son's indiscretions and focused on the positive — like when his son graduated college in 2014.
“My son graduated today,” the 47-year-old rapper wrote on Instagram. “Looking good out there Amore…I love you man.. #BachelorofFineArts.”
