A security guard for rapper Kodak Black was shot Monday morning in a Florida McDonald’s parking lot.
The shooting erupted around 3 a.m. in Tallahassee after the rapper performed at “Cultur3 Fest featuring Kodak Black + Friends” over the weekend, local TV network WCTV reported.
Cops told the Tallahassee Democrat that Kodak Black and his entourage were followed by several vehicles as they left the show and tried to cut the cars off.
Black and his crew drove to the McDonalds and blocked the entrance with one of their cars.
The vehicle that followed the rapper from the concert then showed up in the fast-food parking lot and one of the passengers opened fire, the reports say.
Black’s security guard was hit once in the leg. The bullet struck his femoral artery, leaving him in serious condition.
The rapper, born Bill Kahan Kapri, was whisked away in an armored vehicle, the reports said.
Former President Donald Trump commuted the 23-year-old rapper’s prison stint in early 2020 for making a false statement to buy a firearm.
