Kid Cudi's manager is coming to his defense after Drake dissed him in his new song, "Two Birds, One Stone."
Dennis Cummings called the Canadian rapper "corny as f--k" on Twitter and accused him of wanting to work with Cudi long before their feud began.
"How Aubrey and his writers take a shot with the same hands they used to beg for a feature?” Cummings said.
"Everyone thinks they're soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them," Cudi wrote.
A month later, the "Day 'N' Nite" artist announced he was checking himself into rehab for "depression and suicidal urges."
Drake, who released four new tracks on Sunday, then took a shot at Cudi's mental illness in one of the songs.
“You were the man on the moon, now you just go through your phases," he said. "You stay xanned and perc up."
Fans were quick to point out the Toronto native's insensitivity.
"Kid Cudi disses Drake's talent and Drake's only comeback is to insult Cudi's health and not musical abilities," one fan said.
Another chimed in, "Drake sells himself as the guy who is open about his feelings & has albums that are like journal entries, slandering Cudi is a very bad look."
