Kesha Claims Sony Puts Female Artist In Physical Danger

Kesha has revised her bombshell sex assault lawsuit against music producer Dr. Luke with a new claim Sony Music enabled the "abusive relationship" and should be held liable.

The amended complaint filed Monday in Los Angeles adds Sony as a defendant who allegedly "ratified, condoned and encouraged Dr. Luke's unlawful conduct."

The paperwork, obtained by the Daily News, states that Sony provided corporate resources and oversight to Dr. Luke's career and knew how he was "treating female entertainers under his tutelage and supervision."

Kesha, 28, filed her original complaint in October claiming Dr. Luke plucked her from obscurity at age 18 and promised her a glamorous music career before turning on her, drugging and raping her, threatening her life and causing her to suffer from bulimia and high blood pressure.

It said Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, once forced her to snort an illicit drug before a flight and then "continuously forced himself" on her.

Dr. Luke filed his own breach of contract lawsuit against Kesha in New York shortly after her original complaint and got a judge to unseal secret deposition transcripts from a separate court proceeding in which the "Tik Tok" singer denied he ever hit on her.

"Dr. Luke never made sexual advances at me," Kesha testified under oath in the 2011 transcript previously obtained by The News.

Kesha's lawyer Mark Geragos quickly dismissed the 2011 denial saying it showed the platinum selling pop-artist was living in fear of Dr. Luke and afraid to tell the truth.

"After this deposition, after the threats, she went into rehab and therapy and now she's finally strong enough that she's not going to be intimated or threatened anymore," Geragos previously said.

The deposition was taken in connection with a $14 million lawsuit filed by Kesha's former New York-based management company DAS Communications.

The company claimed Kesha broke her contract when she left them in 2008 - and that Dr. Luke "intimidated and convinced" her to cut ties with DAS.

Asked during the 2011 deposition if Dr. Luke ever gave her cocaine of other illicit drugs, Kesha said he never fed her coke but that she wasn't sure about other drugs.

"Did Dr. Luke ever give you a roofie?" a DAS lawyer asked Kesha.

"No," she replied.

"Did you ever tell your mother that you woke up in a hotel room in Gottwald's bed and you don't recall what happened that night?" the lawyer asked next.

"I don't remember," Kesha said.

The pop singer's new amended complaint re-asserts the claim that Dr. Luke once gave her mysterious medication disguised as "sober pills" and that she woke up the following afternoon naked in his bed, feeling sore and sick from an alleged rape.

It claims Sony either knew about Dr. Luke's behavior or "turned a blind eye" and failed to investigate or take any corrective action.
