Kendrick Lamar's 'DAMN.' Returns To No. 1 On Billboard 200

It must be tough to be humble when you’re so used to winning.

Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN.” returned to the top of the Billboard 200 chart Sunday, netting its fourth total week at No. 1 since the album dropped in May.

With four weeks at No. 1, “DAMN.” has spent the most time on top of the chart since the Weeknd’s “Starboy” notched five non-consecutive weeks in February.

“DAMN.” moved 47,000 equivalent album units in the sales tracking week ending August 10, according to Nielsen Music.

Last week, Arcade Fire’s “Everything Now” debuted at No. 1, knocking “DAMN.” to the No. 2 spot.

“Everything Now” tallied a meager 7.9 million streams in its debut week compared to 46 million streams for “DAMN.” in the same week, but managed to claim a No. 1 spot thanks to strong physical sales.

Arcade Fire’s streaming total is the lowest for any No. 1 album since Bon Jovi’s “This House Is Not For Sale” in November.

But this week, “Everything Now” has fallen entirely outside of the top 10.

Country star Brett Eldredge occupies the No. 2 spot this week, and with DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, “Now 63,” 21 Savage, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, SZA and Khalid rounding out the rest of the top 10.
