Kanye West Played A Part In Drake’s “Two Birds, One Stone”

Controversy seems to keeps circling Drake’s recently released “Two Birds, One Stone,” and the latest included Kanye West. The Chicago rapper is listed as one of the lyricists, composers and producers of Drizzy’s diss track.

In case that you aren’t familiar with G.O.O.D. Music, here’s why West’s credits on “Two Birds, One Stone,” could be a problem:

1.) Drake takes shots at Kid Cudi: As we know, Cudi social media rant against Drake and Kanye fueled this round of rap beef. Before dissing Cudi on a record, Drizzy (and ‘Ye) fired back at the Ohio native during sold-out stops on their respective tours.

When Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression and “suicidal tendencies,” earlier in the month, West retracted his previous jabs at the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper.

2.) Drake takes shots at Pusha T: On King Push’s sophomore album, Darkest Before The Dawn: The Prelude, the G.O.O.D. Music president spits about how he never “lost [his] El Chapo,” and claims that he can hop back in the drug game at any time.

Clearly, Drake thinks otherwise.

“That’s gotta stop, though. You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo.”

On the other hand, “T.B.O.S.” may have been produced prior to the Cudi drama, so there’s a possibility that Yeezy didn’t know all of the lyrics. It’s also likely that the fodder is part of a marketing scheme for the anticipated collaborative album between ‘Ye and Drizzy.

So many questions with so little answers. But at the end of the day, “Can’t nobody tell ‘Ye who to do songs with.“
