Kanye West Donates $500K To California Fire Relief

Kanye West is paying it forward in the wake of the recent California wildfires.

West’s wife Kim Kardashian appeared on “Ellen” to present a $100,000 check to Michael and Lisa Williams, a local couple who selflessly helped others even as their home caught on fire while they were still inside it.

West, Yeezy and Adidas also donated $200,000 to the California Fire Foundation and $200,000 to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund.

Previously, the couple hired a private firefighter squad to save their $60 million mansion along with the rest of their cul-de-sac.

West claimed on Twitter that he is working on building a fireproof community, but didn’t specify how he plans to do so.
