Feds Say Photos Prove Tekashi 6ix9ine Is A Member Of Nine Trey Gangster Bloods

Federal prosecutors have released photos of inked-up rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine that they claim prove he is a dangerous gangbanger and should remain in prison until trial.

The pictures, which were presented to a Manhattan federal magistrate judge Monday but released Tuesday, include photos of an AK-15 assault rifle that federal agents discovered at his Brooklyn home in September, as well as images from video surveillance that prosecutors say put the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, at the scene of multiple crimes.

Images from surveillance video attached to the Nov. 19 letter include shots of Hernandez near a gun blast that the feds say tie him to an April 21, 2018, shooting at the Barclays Center in downtown Brooklyn.

Prosecutors claim Hernandez and his buddies — many of whom were also arrested — went to the Barclays Center for a boxing match that day because Hernandez was scheduled to sing the entrance song for one of the fighters.

Once there, they caused mayhem, including getting into a confrontation with the rival rapper’s group before “someone in Hernandez’s group fired a round in the air,” the feds said.

The letter also included images that prosecutors say tie Hernandez to an April 3, 2018, gunpoint robbery of a rival gang. The feds say Hernandez is a member of the Nine Trey Gangsters, a sect of the Bloods formed at Rikers prison in 1993.

Included in the letter is a photo of a backpack that federal agents discovered in his apartment in September that they say contained the “proceeds” of the gang’s April robbery.

The singer was collared over the weekend and presented Monday night on federal racketeering and firearms charges, along with his former manager, 36-year-old Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, and three former associates, Faheem “Crippy” Walter, Jensel “Ish” Butler and Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones.

Hernandez’s lawyer on Monday disputed that his client was a member of the Nine Trey gang, saying the rapper only got involved with Jordan and the others in 2017 when he met them at one of his concerts and offered them jobs. Lawyer Lance Lazzaro also claimed that the feds’ images generally show that Hernandez was not near the scene of many of the alleged crimes, including the April robbery, where he waited in the car.

The judge remanded Hernandez and his alleged gang buddies.

According to TMZ he was placed in general population at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.

Lazzaro is expected to raise the bail fight with the district judge in charge of Hernandez’s case on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The case was investigated by ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations unit, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the NYPD.
