Maybe Kanye West should start journaling.
The rapper-turned-designer — now infamous for his Twitter tirades — took time from his Saturday morning to slam a negative review of his fashion show, show love for Caitlyn Jenner and Rihanna, and blame Chance the Rapper for delaying the release of his new album.
West zeroed in on a brief item from gossip site MediaTakeout, which had dismissed the shabby-chic clothing line West debuted Thursday as “torn rags.”
“Now - Media Takeout - always remember that you dissed the collection that changed the world,” he wrote. “You seem like the type of organization hired to always keep dreamers down.”
“People were crying… people were throwing up the fist… people were dancing,” he wrote in a melodramatic string of tweets. “But Media Takeout couldn’t say one thing positive knowing damn well you’d love to be on the YEEZY 350 list…”
He added that while he normally finds the site “entertaining and hilarious,” the negative critique had gone a shade too far.
“You have no idea what I’ve had to go through,” he said.
West then praised transgender reality star Caitlyn Jenner (“She gave the most heartfelt speech at my wedding”) and shared a photo of “lil' sis” Rihanna strutting the runway at New York Fashion Week (“Wow the paradigm has shifted, She killed it…. everything is changed now!!!!”).
The social media maelstrom eventually spiraled into caps lock-heavy nonsense, including an inexplicable shoutout to the sci-fi flick “Tron: Legacy.”
“I’M SO HYPE RIGHT NOW EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED … HAVE YA’LL EVER SEEN TRON? THE END OF THE TRON WHERE EVERYTHING LIGHT UP!!!!” he wrote.
And in response to those whining about the delayed release of “The Life of Pablo,” West’s new album that was set to drop Friday, he shifted the blame to fellow rapper Chance.
Per West, Chance “really wanted (the track) Waves on that B---h,” which caused a setback.
Chance confirmed he had caused the holdup.
“I fought everyone to keep Waves on the album. I spent all night finishing it,” he tweeted. “The world is better because of it.”
It’s been a busy week for Yeezy on Twitter. On Friday, he defended his decision to call Taylor Swift a “b---h” and rap about bedding her on his new track “Famous.” Three days earlier, he declared disgraced comic Bill Cosby “innocent.”
The rapper is set to appear on this week’s “Saturday Night Live” as a musical guest.
