Not guilty was the verdict Monday for an associate of hip-hop mogul James (Jimmy the Henchman) Rosemond.
Ronald Anderson, 34, beat his drug and gun rap after a one-week trial in Manhattan Federal Court that was severed at the last minute from Rosemond’s upcoming murder trial.
“My client is elated to be home with his family,” defense lawyer Joseph Corrozo said, describing Anderson as a barber and club promoter.
Rosemond, who has long been suspected in the slaying of rapper Tupac Shakur, is charged with ordering a 2009 hit on an associate of rapper 50 Cent.
The Czar Entertainment founder allegedly had Lowell Fletcher gunned down in the Bronx after Fletcher slapped his son.
Rosemond’s Manhattan trial next year comes after he was sentenced in Brooklyn Federal Court last month to life in prison for running a cocaine trafficking ring.
Jimmy is like f**k it, I'm doing life anyways, might as well take the rap for everything
