We all know the 44-year-old rapper put a ring on it long time ago but when Beyoncé lost a piece of bling at Monday's Met Gala, her husband was there on bended knee to help.

Jay Z added some charm to picking up the lost jewel from the red carpet by staging an adorable mock proposal to his wife of six years for the cameras.

Queen Bey, 32, who stunned in a crystal-studded custom Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress, flashed a huge smile at Jay put the ring back on her finger.

The couple was among several of the stars that showed up at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art's lavish affair alongside their famous other half.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Sean Penn and Charlize Theron, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Victoria and David Beckham, and Johnny Depp and fiancée Amber Heard were there, to name a few.

Jay Z and Beyoncé are gearing up for their upcoming summer tour together, "On the Run."
