Janet Jackson‘s costumes are bringing a lot of brightness to New York.

The iconic performer was spotted filming a music video in Brooklyn on Thursday, where she was spotted working with Daddy Yankee while sporting an eye-catching plaid ensemble.

The “Rhythm Nation” singer, 52, brought even more wild fashions to Brooklyn on Sunday when she returned to film more scenes. This time, she was captured wearing a green headscarf, ripped jeans, a white T-shirt with a pink plaid overlay and a massive yellow belt.

In May, Jackson said she was working on new music.

“I can’t decide in advance what a song or an album concept will be,” she said. “I have to let those songs and concepts come to me rather than chase them down.”
