A big fight needs a big name to perform the national anthem.
Enter Jamie Foxx.
The Oscar- and Grammy actor will do the honors Saturday night before Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight in Las Vegas, TMZ reports. Foxx, who is starring as Mike Tyson in an upcoming movie that he says will be Martin Scorsese’s first boxing movie since “Raging Bull,” played Bundini Brown, Muhammad Ali’s longtime cornerman, in “Ali.”
He memorably performed “America the Beautiful” before one of Pacquiao’s fights a few years back.
