Gucci Mane Is The New Face For Gucci Cruise 2020 Ads

Gucci x Gucci Mane is giving a whole new meaning to the brand’s iconic double-G logo.

The luxury label tapped the 39-year-old rapper, Iggy Pop, 72, and Sienna Miller, 37, to be the faces of its new cruise 2020 ads.

The fashion house’s latest “#ComeAsYouAre_RSVP” campaign, creative-directed by Gucci’s designer Alessandro Michele, is meant to invoke a hedonistic party environment and was shot at the Villa La Furibonda in Rome, which is owned by Marisela Ferderici (who also appears in some of the images).

According to a press release from the label, this campaign tells the story of a “party at the villa, where guests naturally arrive in a limousine or helicopter, because the cliché is inalienable irony. Everybody gathers together everywhere including the bathtub and the swimming pool: the ageless eager and wild rockstar, the glamorous socialite, the bourgeois lady, the tycoon, and the hip hop star. No one can tell who is what and who is hanging out with whom, and it is exactly this seeming confusion swirling with signs that make Gucci, Gucci.”

In the shots, Mane gets a massage and peeks out from a bathtub filled with bubbles, while Sienna Miller does her best impression of a glamorous socialite and Iggy Pop lounges around shirtless in various locations.
