You can now add weatherman to Flavor Flav's extensive résumé.

The rapper-turned-reality star stopped by Salt Lake City's Fox 13 morning broadcast to inform citizens about the upcoming weather in the Utah capital on Saturday.

And true to form, the notorious Public Enemy hype man began his surprise appearance with a spirited rap.

"I'm here to bring you the weather," he rapped. "Not only for the good, but for the better. You know what I'm saying? I ain't playing."

He then dove right into the forecast, pointing to the weather map to show it was a comfortable 56 degrees in Salt Lake City before he started delving into the surrounding cities.

"The weather — it's gonna be kind of good today, you know what I'm saying?" he said.

The 56-year-old rapper, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., then shared the highs for the day in Salt Lake City and its neighboring cities before confessing he wasn't particularly qualified to deliver the forecast to the public.

"I'm not really a weather person, I'm a rapper," he explained. "But thank you Fox for letting me come on this morning."He wrapped up his cameo with a shout out to his brother, who is an athletic director at the nearby West High School.

Known for always wearing an enormous clock necklace, Flavor Flav became one of the most famous hype men in the rap genre in the 1980s and '90s.

He also earned an enormous following as the star of a number of VH1 reality shows, including "Flavor of Love" and "The Surreal Life."
