Feds Want Martin Shkreli’s Wu-Tang Clan Album

Brooklyn prosecutors say they could seize hated “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli’s one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album as part of $7.4 million in restitution they are seeking over his recent conviction for fraud.

In court documents filed Thursday, the federal prosecutors said, “Shkreli must forfeit $7,360,450.00 to the United States.” They then listed his “Once Upon A Time in Shaolin” album, which Shkreli bought for $2 million — before he became the “most hated man in America” for dramatically jacking up the price of a life-saving drug.

The feds also targeted Shkreli’s “Tha Carter V” album by Lil Wayne and “a Picasso painting” that they didn’t identify.

Shkreli was convicted in August of defrauding investors in two of his hedge funds amid efforts to control shares of his drug company Retrophin Inc.

He is being held in a federal lockup in Brooklyn while awaiting sentencing, which is scheduled for January.
