Eminem knows how to survive in the hip-hop game.
The rapper debuted his new song “Survival” Wednesday in the trailer for “Call of Duty: Ghosts.”
Although the song is overlapped by the video game’s gun fire and explosions his lyrical prowess is hard to miss.
Getting straight to the point, Eminem rhymes: “I’m f---ing back again with another anthem, why stop when it doesn’t have to end/ It ain’t over till I say it’s over, enough when I say enough.”
While sparks are still flying from Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s single “Control” that dropped Tuesday, there’s now more head bobbing, showstopping hip-hop news.
“Damn it’s a good week for Hip Hop!!!” Diddy tweeted Aug. 14. “Made one of the greats Eminem drop a record!! This what’s been missin!!”
The 40-year-old “Slim Shady” rapper has now arguably caused a frenzy by releasing fresh content prior to his highly anticipated new album. Em’s last album “Recovery” dropped in 2010.
Although the song is not a single off his next musical catalog, Shady Promotions did confirm a music video will be forthcoming.
“Eminem’s ‘Survival’ will have a music video which is dropping soon,” they tweeted.
