IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Fortunately Drake‘s rap career is strong enough that he doesn’t have to rely on royalties from his time on “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

The 30-year-old emcee, who played wheelchair-bound Jimmy Brooks on the long-running Canadian teen drama from 2001 to 2007, shared a photo of a check revealing he made a whopping $8.25 from the last pay period.

“Degrassi money still coming in don’t sleeeeeeeep…” he captioned the picture, adding emojis of cash and bags of coins.

While Drake hasn’t appeared on the small screen in years, he did express interest in returning to the acting game.

“I can’t wait to get back into acting,” he previously told W magazine. “No one ever asks me to do movies, and although music is my focal point now … I’d love to do a film. That was the life that I lived before, and it would be interesting to live it again.”

Maybe he’ll pull in $10 next time.
