Drake Cops 40-Carat OVO Owl Chain For $120,000

Drake has long adored gaudy jewelry that represents his OVO home team. The 6 God recently added a new chain to his collection after the release of his playlist project More Life.

Customized by renowned jeweler Ben Baller, Drake's gold chain includes 40 carats of ice blue, canary and white VVS diamonds. As for the OVO owl pendant, the eyes are icey blue with bright pink accents to accentuate the golden wings of the mascot.

"Hermes Link... Ice Blue Mink We had to go crazy AGAIN.... Light 40 carats," wrote Ben Baller after crafting together the glittering piece, referencing Drake's "Gyalchester" lyrics. The new pendant follows Drake's tattoo spree last month which included new pieces like a portrait of Sade, a bottle of Drakkar Noir cologne, and a pink hibiscus flower that has become the emoji synonymous with More Life.

Earlier this week, Drake's More Life notched the top spot for the second consecutive week on Billboard's Hot 200. After debuting with a shattering 505,000 copies, the Toronto rapper's set pulled in over 226,000 copies its second week.
