Three 6 Mafia rapper DJ Paul is feeling the aftershock for carrying a taser around NYC last year. He's been sentenced to community service following his weapon possession arrest.
DJ Paul was stopped by NYPD officers back in October after leaving a restaurant with an open beer in his hand. According to police, Paul admitted he was carrying a taser at the time, so he was placed under arrest for misdemeanor possession of a weapon. He was also charged with carrying an open container.
Paul originally pled "not guilty" to the charges -- but yesterday, the rapper struck a plea deal with prosecutors, agreeing to plead guilty to disorderly conduct instead.
He was sentenced to 21 hours of community service.
