DJ Khaled Has Motivational Message For Jeb Bush

Jeb Bush is in dire need of some keys to success.

Ahead of Thursday night's presidential debate, Jimmy Kimmel asked DJ Khaled to film a motivational message for Bush — who is still struggling to gain traction in an ever-crowded GOP field.

Khaled is quickly becoming famous on snapchat for sharing rambling, often incoherent words of inspiration with his followers, and his pledge to a floundering Bush was no different.

"They don't want you to win," Khaled says before quickly veering off course. "They don't want you to have breakfast. A healthy breakfast. A fruit. Green apple. That's the key. Apple."

Never one to turn down an opportunity to connect with millennial voters, Bush took to twitter to thank Khaled and prove he pays at least a marginal amount of attention to pop culture.

"Thanks @djkhaled," Bush wrote. "Had my green apples for breakfast."

With Donald Trump sure to be on the offensive in Thursday's Fox Business Network debate, the preemptive pat on the back could be useful for Bush. His campaign recently released a scathing ad attack directed solely at the media mogul, beginning with a screen shot of "Donald Trump is a jerk" typed into a YouTube search bar.

A CBS poll currently shows Bush tied for fourth place in the GOP field with 6% of the vote.

Though Khaled showed some momentary support for Bush in his time of need, the DJ made sure to state his primary allegiances to President Obama at the start of the video. And Khaled let Bush know that if he wins the presidency, he shouldn't try to emulate his predecessor in all aspects.

"Don't play basketball. It's not your sport," Khaled says.
