DIDDY IS NOT GOING BACK TO BEING PUFFY!

Diddy's sticking around for a while. Speculation that Sean Combs has decided to switch his nickname from “Diddy” back to a previous handle, “Puffy,” are “completely untrue” says the hip-hop mogul’s rep. On Monday we reported that word of the sobriquet switch was part of the cocktail chatter at the Los Angeles party for Raphael Mazzucco’s “Culo” Photo Art Book launch at the Sunset Marquis.

Combs was supposed to be one of the hosts of the soiree, which drew hip-hop royalty Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes and Nas, but we hear he decided it wouldn’t be appropriate to attend following the Friday funeral of his longtime friend, rapper Heavy D. In honor of his pal, Combs tweeted to his 4.3 million followers Thursday that he would take a “twitter moment of silence for a couple of days.” It ended up lasting until Monday morning.
