A new hip hop drama is being played out in court.
Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Cash Money earlier this year, now Weezy is being sued by another rapper over royalties.
According to TMZ, veteran MC and producer David Banner claims to have signed a contract in 2008 with Wayne's Young Money label to produce two songs—"La La" and "P**** Monster"—on Weezy's Tha Carter III album, but that he never received the $138,787.19 in royalties that the imprint told him he was owed in 2012.
Banner also claims he's owed upwards of $15,392.57 for producing "Streets Is Watchin" off the 2009 compilation album, We Are Young Money.
Banner joins a host of artists who have claimed to not have been fully compensated from their work with the YMCMB label.
