DAMN! BERNIE MADOFF'S SON HANGS HIMSELF WITH A DOG LEASH!

The son of disgraced Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff was found dead inside his Manhattan apartment early Saturday morning, sources said.
Mark Madoff, 46, was found dead inside his Mercer St. home by his father-in-law around 7:30 a.m. and called 911, sources said. The father-in-law told dispatchers that Mark Madoff was hanging from a dog leash, according to the sources.

His two-year-old son was asleep in another room, sources said.

Mark Madoff had been chatting via computer with his wife, Stephanie, who is out of town, sources said. She became worried and called her father to check on her husband.

Mark Madoff worked in his father's company and is a defendant in numerous civil suits, but he had not been charged criminally.

The apparent suicide came on the two-year anniversary of Bernie Madoff's arrest. His breathtaking fraud was brought to light after his sons went to authorities.

Just this week, the trustee recovering assets for Madoff's investors sued Mark Madoff and his brother, Andrew, saying their parents had transferred funds to them.

Bernie Madoff is serving a 150-year federal prison sentence in a North Carolina.
