Da Band’s Chopper Says Diddy “Hated” Tupac Shakur Guts

Da Band member Chopper recently sat down for a chat where he detailed former boss Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “hate” for late rapper Tupac Shakur. The New Orleans native, Combs took issue with anyone in his vicinity praising ‘Pac as an influence, insisting that he and his group memorize verses from Bad Boy legend The Notorious B.I.G., a moment that was captured for Making The Band cameras. “I remember one time, he was like, ‘who did you grow up listening to?’ I said ‘Tupac,’ I ain’t mention Biggie,” Chopper recalled. “That ni**a ain’t even talk to me for, like, four f**kin’ days after that…You couldn’t say ‘Pac was anything better than Biggie. You can’t put them in the same realm or nothing, it’s all about Biggie. He then recalled the group being made to memorize Biggie’s “It Was All A Dream,” a task he believes even B.I.G. himself wouldn’t have forced on an artist. Diddy hated everything about Tupac, no matter how that sound,” he continued. “Diddy hated ‘Pac, facts. Hated his guts. Hated him.” The “Tonight” rapper also shared his theory that the feds are refusing to let Puffy out on bail because they are quietly working to connect him to Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ current case, where he is accused of facilitating Tupac’s murder. Keefe D’s late nephew, Orlando Anderson, is widely believed to be the gunman responsible, with rumors swirling for years that Puffy offered them financial compensation for the hit. The MC also doubts that the formal charges against Diddy — including racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution will stick.
