Chris Brown was finally able to “Say Goodbye” to the Philippines.
The 26-year-old singer has left the Southeast Asian nation after settling his contract dispute with promoters, according to TMZ. He is believed to be flying in his private jet now.
Brown, who performed in the Philippines last night, was reportedly barred from leaving the country earlier Wednesday by Filipino officials.
The hip-hop star allegedly skipped out on a scheduled gig there last New Year's Eve - and never paid back the promoters who advertised the show.
Those promoters were granted an injunction by the Philippine Department of Justice to stop any attempts by the "Run It" singer to leave the country without paying them the amount he allegedly owes.
Brown was stopped on Wednesday morning as he prepared to leave the Philippines on a private jet and fly to Hong Kong for his next show. It is unclear if Brown will still perform in Hong Kong tonight, as the start of show would have to be delayed.
The incident was just the latest dilemma for the troubled hip-hop star.
In 2009, he pleaded guilty to assaulting singer and then-girlfriend Rihanna. Three years later, his entourage got into a bottle-throwing fight with rapper Drake and his companions at a New York night club. Brown was accused of three separate crimes in 2013 alone -- shoving a woman at an Anaheim night club, leaving the scene of a car accident and committing felony assault outside of a hotel in Washington.
These legal issues forced Brown to cancel a show in Canada back in February, when he was not allowed to enter the country due to his criminal background.
