A Chinese toddler had half his arm bitten off by a tiger after he reached into the animal's cage at a wildlife park.
The 2-year-old boy was at a Sichuan province attraction with three adults on Saturday afternoon when the horrific incident occurred, reports Shanghaiist.
The white tiger sunk its teeth into the infant's right arm below his elbow.
It's not clear whether the limb was completely ripped off and eaten by the animal, or if some of it was saved by the adults.
The boy was rushed to People's Hospital in Yan'an for emergency treatment.
He was later being transferred to another hospital for major surgery.
Doctors desperately tried to save some of what remained of his arm, but they ended up amputating from the elbow down.
