CHAD "OCHOCINCO" RELEASED FROM JAIL & THE MIAMI DOLPHINS AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!

Chad Johnson looked tight-lipped as he stalked out of a Miami jail Sunday morning, just a few hours after being arrested on charges he head-butted his wife.

The 34-year-old wide receiver — who was released Sunday by the Miami Dolphins, according to several news outlets — had changed his name to Chad Ochocinco in honor of the No. 85 he wore as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals.

He was freed from jail Sunday after posting a $2,500 bond, but refused to comment on reporters’ questions about his Saturday night bust, according to TMZ.

The couple, who tied the knot just a month ago on July 4, reportedly got into a heated argument after his wife, reality-TV star Evelyn Lozada, discovered a Walgreens receipt for condoms in the trunk of their car as she carried in shopping bags.

“The two then sat inside their black Smart Car that was parked in the driveway. . . . They began talking about the sales receipt and their marriage.

“As they were talking, Johnson became upset and without (her) permission grabbed her and head-butted her,” according to a police report obtained by TMZ. According to NFL.com, Lozada emerged from the car with a “pretty good-sized” laceration on her head and was later taken to the emergency room at the West Side Regional Hospital, where she was treated.

The police report describes a “laceration on the center of her forehead, approximately 3 inches in length.”

Lozada told police that Johnson began screaming at her after the assault in an obscenity-laced tirade.

She got so scared during their spat that she “fled on foot to a neighbor’s house to get away from Johnson.”

“Johnson began driving the neighborhood looking for (her). She hid at her neighbor’s house until they arrived home. At this time, they called police,” according to the police report.

The report, however, reads like a classic he-said, she-said.Photobucket

Johnson countered his wife’s story, telling police it was Lozada’s fault. He admitted to cops that they had argued, but claimed she was the one who struck his head.
