Cash Money Records Signs Exclusive Deal With Apple Music

Apple Music has been known to sign high profile artist; most notably Drake. Now Apple has signed and entire label! That’s right, Cash Money Records has inked an exclusive deal with Apple Music, according to Birdman, confirmed via his official Instagram page.

Cash Money’s roster includes artist such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Young Money Records, and Birdman.

Cash Money co-founder Brian Williams (Birdman) posted a picture to his Instagram, on Aug 14th, in which he posed with Apple Music’s Larry Jackson. Birdman States: ‘it’s official… Cash Money makes a power move with Apple Music.’

This is an interesting deal nonetheless, especially with Cash Money’s exclusive distribution deal with Universal Music Group and Lil Wayne being a stakeholder in Tidal.
