Candlelight Vigil Held For Celeste Rivas Hernandez Dead Teen Found In Car Belonging To D4vd

Lake Elsinore, Calif., residents came together to pay their respects to the teenager, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was found dead in the car belonging to singer D4vd the emotional candlelight vigil was held at a memorial on the street where Hernandez once lived. The memorial was created by a neighbor who once witnessed the young girl walking home from school before she went missing in April 2024. “I’m feeling heartbroken, devastated for hearing about the news. I didn’t know Celeste personally but it hits home,” shared a community member, Gabriela Flores. “My nephew went to school with her since Kindergarten and I just want to say as a… if it was my daughter, I wouldn’t want her to be forgotten. I just want justice for this little girl because whatever happened to her wasn’t just an accident… I don’t want her to be forgotten,” added another resident. While police have not confirmed any evidence, social media has erupted with photos and videos that allegedly link D4vd, legal name David Anthony Burke, to the dead teen. Her family is heartbroken and devastated by this tragic loss. They are seeking help to lay her body to rest. Hernandez’s remains were initially found earlier this month but not identified until days later by the Los Angeles County medical examiner. D4vd, who was on tour at the time, has canceled his remaining shows. The cause of death is still being determined.
