BUSTA RHYMES IS NO LONGER SIGNED TO UNIVERSAL MOTOWN!

Busta Rhymes could be in search of a new label to call his home in the near future.

According to XXL's interview with Busta's manager Chris Lighty, the rap veteran has severed ties with Universal Motown Records and will look to release his new album on his own Conglomerate Records.

Rhymes signed with Universal Motown in 2008, and released his last album, Back on My B.S., on the label in 2009.

The album featured the hit singles “Respect My Conglomerate” featuring Lil Wayne and Jadakiss and “Arab Money” featuring Ron Browz, and is the first Busta Rhymes album to at least not go gold.

Busta is currently working on his new album, E.L.E. 2.
