McKnight was set to perform live in Detroit back in June, but was forced to cancel the show after ticket sales stalled. Since then, an upcoming performance in Washington, D.C., has seen dismal sales, with tickets now being offered at a reduced price on Groupon. The crooner’s string of canceled performances and low ticket sales are believed to be a trend linked to a segment of his fans banding together to punish the crooner for his mistreatment of his elder children. McKnight’s estranged relationship with his three eldest children has made headlines in recent years, as the singer and his offspring have aired their personal issues publicly.
