Bobby Brown Still Wants Criminal Charges For His Daughter's Death

Legal responsibility isn’t enough of a punishment for Nick Gordon in the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, says dad Bobby Brown.

“I don't know the specifics of what happened, but as the judge has said, he is legally responsible,” the 47-year-old “My Prerogative” singer said in an interview on “The T.D. Jakes Show” that will air Wednesday night.

“I know some things that happened to my daughter, but it's up to the D.A. now to do his job.”

Gordon was ruled legally responsible in the death of Bobbi Kristina on Sept. 16.

The only daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in January 2015 and died in hospice care after a six-month coma.

An autopsy report labeled the 22-year-old’s death as a result of drowning and mixed drug intoxication.

Brown’s conservator filed a multi-million dollar wrongful death suit, alleging Gordon caused her brain damage by knocking her out with a drug cocktail and then leaving her in a tub of cold water.

“The D.A. still hasn't taken out criminal charges on Nick Gordon, and that's what I'm waiting for him to do. That's when I think I will get some closure,” Brown said in the interview.

"But until then, just knowing that he’s legally responsible for my daughter's death has given me a bit of calmness to waiting for that D.A.”

Brown also said his daughter was afraid of tubs after her mother’s death — Whitney Houston was found unconscious in a bathtub in 2012 and died shortly after.

“So I know she wouldn't have gotten in the tub," Brown said on the show. "I mean, it's crazy because the tub wasn't even full of water. It had a dustpan in it, in the bottom of the tub.

There's a lot of strange things that will come out in the criminal charges.”
